aquarium1 7th of Adar ♥ Moshe Rabeinus birthday

Moshe Rabeinu was born on Shabbat the 7th of Adar in the year 2368 from creation, and passed away on Shabbat the 7th of Adar in the year 2488 from creation, at the age of 120 years old.

The only thing we definitely know about Moshe Rabeinu’s birthchart is that his Sun sign is Pisces and more specifically his Sun is 7 degrees Pisces conjunct Fixed Star Sadalachbia, which is at 6°43′ Pisces.

Anne Wright describes the astronomical data of Sadalachbia:

Sadalachbia, is a 4th magnitude greenish star in the right arm of the Water Bearer, and the westernmost star, at the inner edge of the Urn.

Sadalachbia is known as the Star of Hidden Things, because under its influences we can discover hidden things such as objects which were lost. Whenever the Sun or Moon conjunct Sadalachbia, chances are good for discovering new gemstones and other hidden treasures.
The birthtone for Sadalachbia is the Snake Agate which is used as a talisman for discovering lost objects and/or hidden treasures.
The Focus Birthstone for the 7th of Adar is the Blue Kyanite. The Karmic Condition Birthstone for the 7th of Adar is the Snakeskin Agate and the Quest Birthstone for the 7th of Adar is the Yellow Jasper.
The Blue Kyanite is used as a talisman for reconnecting with the distant past, especially for historical and genealogical research. And the Yellow Jasper is used as a talisman for strengthening one’s will power and perseverance.

Moshe Rabeinu’s life was shrouded in mystery. He was born 6 months after conception. His birth was kept a secret and when he was a small infant, he was hidden in a tiny vessel on the Nile where Pharaoh’s daughter found him and adopted him. Thus Moshe Rabeinu was raised as Pharaoh’s grandson without knowing his true identity until HaShem appeared to him in the Burning Bush and revealed to him his genealogy:
I am the God of your father, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya’akov. (Exodus 3, 6)

Moshe Rabeinu was born and passed away during Adar, the 12th month of the year, on the 7th day in the month of Adar and on the 7th day in the week. Each day of the week has a ruling star; the ruling Star of Shabbat is Saturn.
Furthermore, Moshe Rabeinu brought to perfection the Sefirah of Netzach (in Hebrew ‘Eternity’). The Sefirah of Netzach is the 7th sefira of the ten sefirot. Uranus and Saturn rule Aquarius. Uranus sojourns 7 years in every sign. Saturn encompasses the 12 signs of the zodiac during 30 years. The Sun sojourns 30 days in each sign of the zodiac. Jupiter sojourns 12 months in every sign.
The Sun vibrates the energy of Netzach. The Sages of the Talmud taught: “The Elders of that generation said that Moshe’s face was radiant like the Sun, and Yehoshua’s face was radiant like the Moon.” (Bava Basra 75)
Uranus vibrates the energy of Chochma (‘Power of Vision’). Chochma is described in Hebrew Kabalistic sources as a “Sudden Flash of Light” – the “Eureka” effect, i.e. sudden discovery, sudden insight. Any changes under the influences of Uranus are sudden, drastic and long-lasting. Saturn vibrates the energy of Gevurah (‘Self-control’). Any changes under the influences of Saturn are definite and long-term. Uranus heralds the occurrence of sudden and unexpected changes from one moment to the next. Saturn rules the process of slow and gradual changes.

The miracle of the splitting of the Red Sea was a typical Uranus type of event. Uranus rules events, which are unpredictable, just like the miracle of the splitting of the Red Sea came by complete surprise. The 40 year voyage of the Benei Yisrael in the desert of Sinai was a typical Saturn type of event; the slow transition from exile in Mitzrayim (Egypt) to national independence in Eretz Yisrael.
Therefore we can say that the Sun, Saturn and Uranus are the Stars of Moshe Rabeinu.

Pisces the Sign of Duplication

lotus1 300x199 Pisces the Sign of Duplication

We must distinguish between two halves which comprise a whole and two wholes which comprise a pair. In the zodiac, we have two double signs, Gemini and Libra, and one duplicate sign, Pisces. The difference between a double sign and a duplicate sign is that one can’t have only one twin or one scale but one can have only one fish.

According to ancient Hebrew Astronomical calculations the Sun is retrograde in Pisces seven times in nineteen years: specifically, in the 19 year cycle, the 3rd, 6th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 19th year. The years during which the Sun is retrograde are called leap years. When the sun is retrograde it’s sojourn in Pisces is 59 days (30 days & 29 days) long. Adar in a non-leap year has only 29 days. In a leap year Adar A has 30 days and Adar B has 29 days. This peculiarity is depicted in the traditional Pisces glyph: one fish is facing the forward direction and the second fish is facing the backward direction. The Pisces glyph highlights the contrast between the two fish just like the Yin/Yang sign.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and it has one foot in the spiritual realm and one foot in the physical world. People born under the sign of Pisces, whether as their Sun sign (Month), Moon sign (Day) or Ascendant (Hour), live simultaneously in the spiritual realm and physical world. In essence they are by nature a bridge between the two worlds.

Pisces is a Water Sign ruled by Jupiter the Star of Abundance and co-ruled by Neptune the Star of Spirituality. Just like the vast expansions of the ocean which is full of hidden treasures, Pisces people have many hidden powers and talents.

Chinese Year of the Metal Rabbit

nanach2 Chinese Year of the Metal Rabbit

Hebrew Mandala by Efrat Sadot

Everything which happens in the world is carefully planned by HaShem and happens by Divine Providence. Nothing which happens is incidental, everything is Divine Synchronicity.

Chinese Astrology is based on the 12 year cycle of Jupiter and the 60 year cycle of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction. The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs every 20 years and every 3rd cycle of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs in the same sign once in 60 years. In other words, Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct in the same sign every 60 years.

Rabbi Yehuda Ben Teima (Avot 5, 21) said: A person attains the wisdom of old age when he turns sixty years old. 60 is the number of Wisdom and China is famous for its ancient culture and traditions of wisdom.

In Chinese Astrology there are twelve signs of the zodiac which are linked to the 12 year cycle of Jupiter. Jupiter traverses each sign for a whole year and completes the cycle of the 12 signs of the zodiac once in 12 years. Thus, each sign in Chinese Astrology encompasses one full year.

Furthermore, Each 12-year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac is linked to one of the 5 stars:

Venus—Metal (White Tiger)

Jupiter—Wood (Azure Dragon)

Mercury—Water (Black Tortoise)

Mars—Fire (Vermilion Phoenix)

Saturn—Earth (Yellow Dragon)

Thus 12 times 5 is 60 – A full cycle of the 12 signs with the 5 stars is a total of 60 years.

The Chinese New Year begins every year on the 30th of Shevat; in other words, the Chinese New Year starts at the time of the New Moon, when the Sun is in Aquarius. The 30th of Shevat 5771, marks the year of the Metal Rabbit.

herb3 Chinese Year of the Metal Rabbit

The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well.

(Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, chapter 1)

The Chinese zodiac sign of the Rabbit (Cat in Vietnam) corresponds to the Western zodiac sign of Pisces. The common feature of fish and rabbits is that they act behind the scenes; the see without being seen and they hear without being heard. They are the hidden force in the dark.

In ancient Hebrew tradition, the Rabbit (Shafan in Hebrew) is the totem of Scribes and Stone Masons. The Rabbit is a creature who lives in caves and crevices in the rocks:

The rocks are a refuge for the rabbits” (Psalms 104, 18)

The Metal Rabbit corresponds to Venus in Pisces. This year humanity will witness a breakthrough in attitudes to love, marital relationships and artistic perception. Art will mainly serve the purpose for spiritual growth rather than for commercial ends. We can also expect the discovery of new gemstones and new mines with gemstones.

The Gemstone for the 30th of Shevat, 0-1 degrees Pisces is the Sonoran Sunrise Jasper. The Sonoran Sunrise Jasper is a unique gemstone only to be found in one small mine in Sonora Mexico: Mina Milpillas, Cuitaca, Mun. de Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. This Gemstone is a combination of Chrysocolla and Cuprite. Metaphysically it is known as the “Stone of Freedom and Empowerment”. This is indeed a suitable gemstone for the Chinese New Year.

China and the Chinese people are ruled by Jupiter, the Star of Abundance and Expansion and by the Moon, the smaller Luminary which rules over the night and by Aquarius the Star Sign of Technology. On the occurrence of the New Moon this month (30th of Shevat 5771), transiting Jupiter was at 2°12′ Aries conjunct Fixed Star Difda (the Star of inhibitions) and near Uranus (the Star of Technology and co-ruler of Aquarius) at 28°05′ Pisces conjunct Fixed Star Azalfafage (also known as “The Tail of the Hen”, the Star of Bird Whisperers), and trine Asteroid Chariklo (the Star of the New Age) at 4°38′ Sagittarius conjunct Fixed Star Marfik (the Star of Herbal Medicine). At the same time the Moon was conjunct Fixed Star Castra (the Star of Uncontrolled Anger) at 20°12′ and near Mars at 14°22′ Aquarius and conjunct Fixed Star Dorsum (also known as “The Wheel of Fortune”, the Star of Fortune and Venomous Creatures). Finally, Saturn, the co-ruler of Aquarius and exalted in Libra, at 17°10′ Libra and conjunct Fixed Star Seginus (the Star of Astrology) and trine the Moon/Mars Midpoint in Aquarius.

On the one hand we will witness a big breakthrough both for Chinese culture and specifically for traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and Chinese Astrology. Chinese economy will be in the lead and override Western economy. On the other hand, China will be involved in different forms of political unrest which will escalate into an armed conflict. Buddhism and Islam, both ruled by the Moon will face power struggles (Moon conjunct Castra, the Star of Uncontrolled Anger) and this will impact the Middle East conflict.
